Registration of Herbal, Dietary Supplements and Medicated Cosmetics Products.

Service provided by the Drug Registration and Pricing Section in the Department of Pharmacy and Drug Control, through which it approves the registration of herbal products, dietary supplements, and medicated cosmetics if the required conditions are met.
Conditions:
  • Prior approval of applicant on the PDCD e-system as agent
  • Prior approval of the MAH on the PDCD e-system.
  • Prior approval of the manufacturer on the PDCD e-system.

​Process flow:
  1. Submission of application request on PDCD e-system (E-Service Link Below) by the authorized agent. 
  2. Initial screening to ensure that all documents have been submitted.
  3. Scheduling appointment for receiving samples & CDs.
  4. Review and assessment of the file, and inform the agent with any further requirements or clarifications (if any)
  5. Presenting the file to registration committee.
  6. Informing the agent with the final decision (in case of approval a printable registration certificate is autogenerated from the e-system).
